A 12-year-old boy obsessed with hardcore porn repeatedly raped his younger sister.The boy, who is now 14 and cannot be named, attacked his sister when she was less than nine years old.
Magistrates in Cheltenham heard that when she told their mother what had happened he said that she had consented.
He told her that if she didn't have intercourse with him ‘she wouldn't be his sister any more’, said prosecutor Ian Fenny.
He added:
‘They were not solitary acts and had taken place in her bedroom at a time when he was sure he wouldn't be disturbed.
’
A review of his internet search history found various terms relating to incest porn.
He pleaded guilty to six counts of rape and was given a 12-month referral order.
He was also ordered not to have contact with anyone under the age of 16 including his sister. His internet use is also being monitored.
Because the boy has no previous convictions and is under the age of 15, he would have to be a persistent offender to receive a custodial sentence, Judge Bopa-Rai said.
His father asked the judge if his son would be able to return home once he left the treatment unit, to which she replied:
‘I cannot answer that. A lot will depend on where he is at that stage.’
